KEY DEPARTMENTAL STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES

Strengths

  • The operational units of Campus Services all have a strong customer service orientation.
  • The various units of Campus Services function well as a team, particularly when responding to crisis situations.
  • Campus Services has a very experienced, capable and dependable management team.



Opportunities

  • The new food service vendor and the completion of the food service master plan provide a significant opportunity to improve the quality of life on campus.
  • Implementation of the new card access system provides the basis for expanding and improving our protective systems and becoming a leader in the application of security technology amongst our peer institutions.
  • Planning for the new residential village, student center and north campus parking garage present the opportunity to significantly enhance the services that we provide to the campus community.
  • Expansion of the CWRUcard program, and related technological advancements, provides the platform for a number of new services and potential revenue enhancement.
  • The addition of Printing Services to Campus Services provides the opportunity to enrich overall programs and services.
