WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY
DEPARTMENT OF PROTECTIVE SERVICES SECURITY ALERT THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT: 3:55 a.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2003 TYPE OF INCIDENT: Aggravated Robbery LOCATION OF INCIDENT: Off campus - The 2000 block of East 115th Street, west of Mayfield Road INCIDENT DESCRIPTION: A Case student was entering his car, which was parked on the south side of East 115th Street, when he heard someone calling to him from behind. The student turned around and saw an unknown man pointing a silver revolver at him. The student said the suspect demanded money, and he handed over his wallet. The suspect then told the student he would count to three, and the student ran away. After a short distance, the student stopped and turned around and saw the suspect walking north on Mayfield Road toward Euclid Avenue. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 30 years old, 6’0” tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark hat, dark nylon jacket and dark colored pants. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The student was not injured. SECURITY INCIDENT ALERT
