WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY
DEPARTMENT OF PROTECTIVE SERVICES SECURITY ALERT The following incident did not occur on campus and the victims are not affiliated with the University, however because of the proximity, CWRU Protective Services would like the University community to be aware of the incident. THE FOLLOWING INCIDENT OCCURRED AT: 2:35 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2003 TYPE OF INCIDENT: Aggravated Robbery LOCATION OF INCIDENT: Wade Lagoon INCIDENT DESCRIPTION: Four teen-age boys approached four people in the Wade Lagoon area. One boy produced a gun and demanded that the people get on the ground. The people complied, and the suspects took a small amount of cash and a wallet from them. The suspects then shot the gun in the air twice and fled the scene. The people said they believe the gun was a cap gun. No injuries were reported. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: The suspects are described as four black males, ages 16 to 19, all wearing dark clothing. The suspect with the gun was wearing a grey fleece sweatshirt and a bandana on his head. No further description of the suspects was available. SECURITY INCIDENT ALERT
