SECURITY ALERT

March 26, 2004

THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT: 9:35 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2004

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Simple Assault

LOCATION OF INCIDENT: Intersection of Hessler Road and Hessler Court

INCIDENT DESCRIPTION: A Cleveland Institute of Music student was walking south on Hessler Court from Bellflower Road when two unknown males approached him from behind. One of the males struck the student in the face with a closed fist, then both males fled east on Hessler Road toward East 115th Street.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: One of the suspects is described as a white male in his early 20s, about 5’8” to 5’10” and 150 pounds, wearing a dark colored plaid shirt with light colored pants. A description of the second was not available.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The student suffered slight bleeding from his nose and slight bruising to his left cheek but did not require medical treatment.
