Incident Description: Five resident
students were walking northbound on

crimes on and near campus, is a reflection of an increased crime rate in the
City of
> Be alert and aware of
your surroundings as you travel through the campus
area and beyond. Always be sure of where you are going and how
to get
there,
walk with your head up noticing everything around you. Project
confidence that you won’t be a victim!
> If you are a victim or
witness to a crime, be a good witness by getting a
description of the perpetrator(s), vehicles
involved, direction of travel etc.
Call campus police immediately and
give them this information so they will
have an opportunity to catch them!
> Look for programs on
both the north and south side residence halls in the
coming weeks that will give you some safety
tips, inform you what is
happening related to campus safety &
security and address any questions or
concerns you have.
