THE JOHN AND MILDRED PUTNAM
SCULPTURE COLLECTION

The John and Mildred Putnam Sculpture Collection began in 1981 with the generous and enlightened support of a gift from The Mildread Andrews Fund. An endowment established subsequently by Mildred Andrews Putnam and her son Peter Putnam makes it possible for Case Western Reserve University to make regular additions to the collection. The focus of the collection is the work of regional artists, defined in broad terms. Artists living and working in -- or natives of -- Cleveland and Ohio are given priority, but the work of artists from neighboring states is also included. It is hoped that this map will help the visitor to identify and enjoy the wide variety of sculptures in the Putnam collection.
