Rental Policy & Lease Requirements

Case students and students of affiliated institutions have priority over non-students.

Application process
    
We evaluate every apartment application in the following manner:

  1. You must submit a signed rental application with a deposit equal to one month's rent, within one business day, to the property management office.
  2. You must provide proof of identification: enrollment at Case or an affiliated institution, passport, driver's license, or state I. D.
  3. You must provide proof of ability to pay monthly rent subject to:

•  Proof of employment - your monthly income must equal 3 times monthly rent.

•  An acceptable credit history - your credit history must currently be satisfactory or an approved co-signer's signature will be required.

•  Proof of grants, loans, or scholarships.

•  Pre-payment of first and last month's rent (plus security deposit).

  1. Approved applicants will be notified of a date and time for signing of the lease and other rental documents.
  2. First month's rent is due before move-in (prior to issuance of keys). We do not accept cash or credit cards. Checks or money orders should be made payable to: Case.
  3. Arrangements for obtaining keys and move-in inspections are done by appointment only, Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
