Human Resource Administrators' Meetings

In May 2012, the Payroll Department and Human Resources Benefits Administration Office provided information on pay systems, timesheets, and the sick and vacation benefits especially in relation to leaves of absence. The February 2012 HRA meeting featured the Human Resources Compensation staff who presented information on the university's compensation processes. In November 2011, representatives of the university's employee assistance provider, EASE@Work, were our guests and discussed the emotional employee. Information regarding any of the above presentations will be provided as needed - please feel free to contact Employee Relations.

The August 2011 session was presented by Employee Relations to discuss the process for addressing behavior issues via the Communication and Expectations (I-2), Work Environment/Professionalism (I-7), and Positive Corrective Action (III-3) policies. (See presentation). Examples of documentation are contained in the presentation to aid in preparation for counseling employess and commencing formal corrective action for behavior issues that you may encounter.
