Term Employment
A term position is a full-time or part-time position funded for an identified period of
time from a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years. Term employees are eligible
to receive medical and dental coverage, as well as paid time off for vacation, sick days
and University holidays. Term employees are not eligible to receive benefits for life
insurance, retirement, short-term and long-term disability coverage, or tuition waiver.
There is no guarantee of employment either within the specified term or when the term
ends.
