Chemical Safety Training
Hazard Communication (formerly Right-to-Know):
Every employee and contractor that works at CASE must take this class.
OSHA Lab Standard:
Every employee that works with chemicals must take this class.
Respirator Training:
 Any employee who needs to wear a respirator for their job needs to take this class annually. A respirator fit test is also needed annually.
Materials Shipment Training:
All employees who affect the shipment of dangerous goods must be trained before shipment occurs.

NO FOOD IN THE LABS

Absolutely, positively no food is allowed in any laboratory that has biologicals, chemicals, or radioactive materials.

Do not store food items in cold rooms or refrigerators or even in your desk if it is in a lab.

Store your food in a place designated for such use such as a kitchen, break room etc...

This label must be posted in all laboratories containing any hazardous material with the approriate stickers for your laboratory.

Secondarily contain these items when travelling on the elevators.
