HCM Challenge Questions
In an effort to better protect employee information, an additional level of security will be implemented for certain functions within HCM. This change will be effective August 19, 2014. Challenge questions will be required to gain access to the Direct Deposit and View W-2/W-2c Form selections under Self Service/Payroll and Compensation. The Direct Deposit page will require individuals to enter their current account number. If the individual has more than one account listed in the system, it will be the account selected for the A/P (employee reimbursement) option. If the individual is new to direct deposit, it will prompt them to enter the last four digits of their Social Security Number. To view their W-2 forms a user will need to enter the last four digits of their Social Security number.

If an individual is unable to successfully answer the security question after three attempts, they will be lock out of the screen they are trying to access. In that event, the individual will be required to produce their University ID or driverís license in person at the Payroll Office or Cashierís Office to have the screen unlocked. If the employee is off campus, please contact the Payroll Office directly at 216.368.4290 or payroll@case.edu.

Direct Deposit Functionality in HCM
The Payroll Office is pleased to announce the addition of Direct Deposit functionality to the Self-Service feature within HCM.   There are no changes to current direct deposit information so no further action is required.  However, future changes (addition or deletion of accounts, changes in dollar amounts or percentages, etc) will need to be made through self-service.  If you have questions, please review the training guide below.
