The Office of Emergency Management offers a number of resources for the university to community to help them prepare for emergency situations and be informed on how best to respond in a quick and appropriate manner.

Campus posters

University Protective Services uses colorful posters to draw attention to safety issues, security-related events and tips for staying safe on campus. Departments can print these posters from Emergency Management to highlight safety messages in their buildings, labs and offices. Read more about campus posters.

Cleveland Public Safety

The Cleveland Department of Public Safety provides a wide range of services that protect the life and property of the community, including the city's office of emergency management, police and emergency medical service. Learn about Cleveland Public Safety.

Ohio Emergency Management

Part of the Department of Safety, the Ohio Emergency Management Agency coordinates the state's mitigation, preparation, response and recovery efforts in the event of a disaster. The state-level agency's activities involve education, training and preparedness, strengthening Ohio's first-responder capabilities and improving delivery of recovery support. Federal Emergency Management

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provides support, education and resources for citizens and first-responders in an effort to improve their capabilities to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards. Learn more about FEMA and its resources.

Ready America

United States' Homeland Security launched Ready America in 2003 to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergency situations, such as natural disasters and terrorist attacks.
