Whether you choose to have sex—either for the first time or the 500th time—is entirely up to you. When making that decision you will be influenced by your cultural and/or religious background as well as your relationship with your partner. A supportive partner will be respectful of whatever decision you make.
If you are inexperienced and beginning a new sexual relationship, you may find that you are a bit nervous. Perhaps you are self-conscious about your body, or have questions about technique and are worried that you may disappoint your partner.
Don't worry, even more experienced people—including couples in long-term relationships and your partner—get nervous and have questions. There will always be something more to learn, whether it is a complicated position from the Kama Sutra, or more importantly, how to communicate with your partner to better understand his or her needs and desires.
