Employee Resource Groups at CWRU:

The purpose of Employee Resource Groups at CWRU is to engage, develop and connect employees as the university strives to create a welcoming environment where individuals respect and celebrate differences. The employee-driven groups will support retention and actively engage in promoting an inclusive environment that will enable them to contribute fully to the university's success.

Plans are underway to establish an African American group and an existing LGBT group plans to serve as a LGBT resource group. Information about these two groups is forthcoming. ERGs are the result of collaboration between the Department of Human Resources, Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity and the CWRU Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center .
