Training and Education

The Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity is available to assist you in your education and training needs for faculty, search committees, staff, and students.

The following are examples of types of training and/consultation. We can provide other topics and training to suit your specific needs.

  • Civility

  • Communication (e. g., micro‚Äźmessaging, interpersonal, power differential)

  • Disability Awareness

  • Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation

  • Racial Identity

  • Sexual Harassment

  • Policy Review (e. g., Discrimination, Consensual Relationship)

  • Unconscious Bias

We offer training for all campus demographics including Staff (exempt and non-exempt), undergraduate students, graduate student, and faculty. We can provide management centers, departments/divisions or school/college-wide presentations.

Please note that workshops for faculty, staff, and/or graduate students take approximately two hours, while workshops for undergraduate students take approximately one hour.
