Immigration And Human Resource Services
Foreign Faculty and Scholars
The Office of Immigration and Human Resource Services is the university's liaison with the federal agencies that are concerned with visa-related matters. IHRS facilitates immigrant/permanent resident status, is responsible for employment eligibility verification (I-9), W-4 tax status confirmation, and determines whether or not to file tax treaty exemption forms with the Internal Revenue Service.
Employee Assistance Program (EASE)
We recognize that from time to time each of us experience difficulties that we are unable to handle on our own. Employee Assistance Service (EASE) is a voluntary private and confidential program provided through Center for Families and Children (CFC). This service provides counseling and community resources for benefits-eligible employees and family members to help identify problems and develop plans for resolution.
