The Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity champions, builds and enhances campus-wide diversity efforts. In addition, it serves as a spirited, persuasive and inspirational point of connection across the University and greater community.

Moving Forward...

The Office of Faculty Diversity is pleased to support the Case Western Reserve community by providing support to Faculty, Departments, Schools, and the northeast Ohio Community around issues of faculty recruitment, retention and diversity and inclusion training. We look forward to continuing our support.

Faculty Diversity

Photo of Adelbert HallThe Office of Faculty Diversity (OFD) is housed within Case Western Reserve's Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity. The Faculty Diversity Officer reviews allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination (gender, sexual orientation, racial, ADA) and also serves as a facilitator for addressing faculty diversity issues in areas related to faculty duties.

The Manager of Faculty Diversity and Development, provides customized resources and information to search committees, department chairs and deans to increase the diversity of the faculty candidate pools and eliminate bias from evaluation procedures.

Photo of Robynn StrongRobynn K. Strong received a B.A. degree from Notre Dame College in Ohio where she majored in Business Management and is currently taking graduate level courses in the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations.

Robynn has more than 17 years of employment at Case Western Reserve University and has a thorough understanding of the inner workings of the University.  She has worked with and supported programs that have addressed the needs of various constituents including faculty.

Robynn is available to assist search committees with successfully executing the Faculty Search Process, in order to ensure that the best candidates are recruited to Case Western Reserve University.  Robynn can be contacted at 216-368-5737 or robynn.strong@case.edu
