Inclusion and Diversity Luncheon
The Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity welcomed the campus community to the first annual Inclusion and Diversity Achievement Award Luncheon on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in Thwing Center's 1914 Lounge.
Rhonda Y. Williams, associate professor of history, director of the Postdoctoral Fellowship in African American Studies, and director of the university's Social Justice Initiative, was honored for her achievements at the ceremony.
The event was the first of its kind for the Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, which appointed its inaugural vice president, Marilyn Sanders Mobley, earlier this year.
