Donor Events

Case Western Reserve University encourages all donors to maintain a strong intellectual and social connection to the institution by attending lectures, exhibits, athletic competitions, and other events throughout the year.

In addition to public events, many individual schools and programs host private receptions for their donors of various levels. On the university level, periodic private donor events allow the institution to recognize the lasting contributions of donors at the highest levels.

On August 28, 2007, President Barbara Snyder hosted a President's Circle Reception to celebrate the institutional impact of transformational giving—those gifts that allow the university to turn aspirations into reality. The event specifically recognized the members of the President's Circle, whose lifetime giving to the university totals $1 million or more. Read more. View photos from the event.

The members of the Turning Point Society, who have made contributions in excess of $100,000 over the course of their lifetimes, were honored at the October 10, 2007, Great Minds, Great Friends event. The evening was centered around engaging conversations between donors, faculty, and students about the innovative research, projects, and teaching happening at Case Western Reserve University.
