Our research group focuses primarily on the development of self-assembled materials with specific function (mechanical, chemical, and biological), particularly on multiple length scales, using nanoscale processing techniques and strategic design parameters. We seek to understand the fundamental structure-function relationship in these materials and harness this knowledge in the development of novel systems for drug delivery, tissue engineering, high performance materials, etc.
