Sherwin Williams has pledged $125,000 to support a new faculty member in the Macromolecular Science department as a part of their diversity recruitment initiative. (February 2008)

The Lubrizol Foundation pledged $125,000 to support the showcase instrumentation lab in Case Kent Hale Smith Building (part of the Center for Layered Polymeric Systems - CLiPS). (May 2007)
The Medtronic Foundation
The Medtronic Foundation pledged a $270,000 gift to support the Medtronic Scholars program at the School of Engineering. (February 2006)

Bioheart, Inc. gave $100,000 to support the Cardiovascular Therapies Consortium.
Fairmount Minerals, Limited
Fairmount Minerals, Limited invested $2 Million to establish the Fairmount Minerals Chair in Social Entrepreneurship at the Weatherhead School of Management. In addition to the chair endowment, Fairmount Minerals also contributed $400,000 to establish the Fairmount Minerals Seed Fund to support programs in the area of social responsibility and sustainable business also at the Weatherhead School of Management.
