Fairmount Minerals, Limited
Fairmount Minerals, Limited invested $2 Million to establish the Fairmount Minerals Chair in Social Entrepreneurship at the Weatherhead School of Management. In addition to the chair endowment, Fairmount Minerals also contributed $400,000 to establish the Fairmount Minerals Seed Fund to support programs in the area of social responsibility and sustainable business also at the Weatherhead School of Management.
National City Bank
National City Bank pledged a $750,000 gift to support of the National City Bank Professorship in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management.
Nordson Corporation Foundation
The Nordson Corporation Foundation has established The Eric T. Nord Endowed Fund for Faculty Development. This $606,000 pledge to the Case School of Engineering is the largest commitment made by the Nordson Corporation Foundation. This fund will have a significant impact on the recruitment and retention of faculty. Empowered to be more responsive to changes in the research landscape, these individuals are the academic leaders of our University community and, with their research efforts, important contributors to the regional economy.
The Medtronic Foundation
The Medtronic Foundation pledged a $270,000 gift to support the Medtronic Scholars program at the School of Engineering.
Sherwin Williams
Sherwin Williams has pledged $125,000 to support a new faculty member in the Macromolecular Science department as a part of their diversity recruitment initiative.
The Lubrizol Foundation
The Lubrizol Foundation pledged $125,000 to support the showcase instrumentation lab in Case Kent Hale Smith Building (part of the Center for Layered Polymeric Systems - CLiPS).
Bioheart, Inc.
Bioheart, Inc. gave $100,000 to support the Cardiovascular Therapies Consortium.
