Retain More Women with Technical Expertise

Today there are more women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) industry positions than ever before. But complex, multi-level organizational factors still impact women’s ability to achieve and succeed in the STEM professions. In fact, women leave these professions at twice the rate of their male colleagues. The Weatherhead School of Management created the Leadership Lab for Women in STEM to provide professional and leadership development for women in technology-driven, male-dominated professions. The focus of this program is to give participants the skills needed to achieve and succeed in STEM occupations. This six-day, immersive experience—intended for women at all stages in their careers—goes beyond what other leadership development programs can offer because it is grounded in pioneering research from Weatherhead’s renowned Organizational Behavior Department. The class launches on March 27. Visit the Executive Education website for more information, costs and to register.
