Case Western Reserve University’s new president, Barbara R. Snyder officially opened the academic
year and welcomed the class of 2011 during the annual Fall Convocation.
This year, in addition to the traditional program, convocation also featured the official investiture ceremony for Snyder. Snyder began her tenure
as Case Western Reserve University's president—
the first woman to hold the office—on July 1, 2007.
