Mandel Center MNO graduates participate in commencement with graduates from either the Weatherhead School of Management or the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. In 2012, Mandel Center graduates will participate in the Weatherhead School of Management Diploma Ceremony.

All students attending any of the commencement ceremonies are required to register by April 1, 2012 at 5 p.m. EDT Register now for commencement.

March 1: commencement registration begins

All students attending any of the commencement ceremonies are required to register by April 1, 2012 at 5 p.m. EDT

March 9: clear financial account

Clear Financial Account Required: Graduates must fulfill all financial obligations to the university prior to participating in commencement. Late fees will be assessed for any unpaid balances after this date.

March 28 and 29: grad fair

You can purchase and pick up your cap and gown at the Case Western Reserve University Grad Fair at University Bookstore in its *new location* in Uptown at Euclid and E. 115 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. or contact the University Bookstore in person or by phone at 216.368.2650.

April 1: registration deadline

5 p.m. EDT Deadline for registering to participate in commencement online at the commencement website.

April 23-26: ticket pick up

Tickets for the convocation and diploma ceremony, graduation announcements, and a guide to commencement will be available in the Office of Rebecca Zirm, 2nd floor, Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations.

commencement day, Sunday, May 20

7:30 a.m.


Convocation Robing Location and Line Up (Graduates): Peter B. Lewis Building. Continental breakfast will be provided.

9:30 a.m.

University Convocation: Veale Center. This is a ticketed event. Guests must be seated by 9:15 a.m. or must wait until after the procession clears the aisles.

11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations Graduation Celebration: Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations, 11402 Bellflower Road.
This reception is open to all MNO and CNM (including dual degree or credential) and DM Nonprofit Fellows graduates and their families and friends.

2 p.m.

Graduates report to assigned room in Dively for line up with regalia by program.

 

4 p.m.

Doors open to guests at Severance Hall. Please note that the Law School ceremony guests will be exiting as WSOM guests are arriving. This is a ticketed event.

4:30 p.m.

Diploma Ceremony: Severance Hall 11001 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio
This is a ticketed event.

Immediately following ceremony please come to Dively to pick up your diploma with proof of ID. Diplomas will be available until 7:30 p.m. in Dively.

 

photographs

A professional photographer will take a picture of each graduate receiving his or her diploma. Graduates will receive an email link to a proof within 14 days after commencement, along with information on how to purchase additional prints. Since professional photographs will be available, family members and guests are encouraged to remain in their seats, relax and enjoy the ceremony.

To ensure the comfort and safety of everyone, guests may not block the aisles or sightlines of others during the ceremony. For safety reasons, guests are not permitted onto the stage area at Severance Hall.

note to cnm graduates

Graduates of CNM and MNO programs, along with their guests, are encouraged to attend the Mandel Center Graduation Celebration to celebrate their accomplishments. The event is held at the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.. This is always a wonderful party where fellow graduating students, faculty and staff gather for great food and conversation. A brief program will take place at the event.

Certificates will be mailed in late May to the forwarding address provided by the CNM student on his or her graduation application.
