Graduate Commencement Exercises Registration

If you plan to march in the University-wide Convocation and/or attend your diploma ceremony and did not register online, you must contact your Commencement Coordinator. Online registration is open from March 1, 2008 8:00am EST until April 1, 2008 5:00pm EDT. Click Here to register.

 

University-wide Convocation

Convocation for all University graduates will be held in Veale Center at 9:30 a.m. The ceremony includes the presentation of honorary degrees, a commencement address, and the conferring of degrees by the President of the University. No diplomas are given out at this ceremony. Tickes are required for guests to attend this ceremony. If you plan to attend this event, you must register online.

Guest Tickets

The University-wide Convocation is a ticketed event. Tickets are required for guests to attend this ceremony. All graduates planning to attend must register online by April 1, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. EST to reserve tickets for this event.

Once a graduate has registered they are guaranteed two guest tickets for Convocation. Graduates who are participating in Convocation do not need tickets for themselves.

 

School of Nursing Ceremonies Registration

All Nursing students attending any of the School of Nursing Ceremonies are requested to complete and submit the online registration by April 28, 2008. Completing this registration will help us to adequately plan for the proper number of guests who will be joining us for the School of Nursing Alumni Luncheon, Reception, and Diploma Ceremony. Begin School of Nursing Ceremonies Registration: deadline to register is April 28, 2008.

Graduates are invited and receive complimentary lunches courtesy of the sponsoring School of Nursing alumni.  Guests of graduates must purchase tickets.  Please watch for a separate invitation from the Nursing Alumni Office that will be sent to graduates for graduate and guests’ registration.  After the undergraduate rehearsal, shuttle transportation to the Alumni Luncheon for graduates will be provided from Adelbert Road in front of One-to-One Fitness Center.

No tickets necessary- Graduate students and their guests will leave Veale Center following the Convocation, making additional seating available for guests of undergraduates.

11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Nursing School Reception

Judson Manor

Open to BSN, MSN, DNP, and PhD graduates and their guests (children welcome) as well as alumni.

    Shuttle Service will be available to Judson Manor, from the School of Nursing, in front of the Wolstein Buillding, for all guests.

    2:00 p.m Line-up for processional to School of Nursing Diploma Ceremony

    Judson Manor

    Graduates and faculty participating in the Nursing School Diploma Ceremony (BSN, MSN, DNP) will line up after the Reception. Students will march to Epworth-Euclid United Methodist Church, led by a Bagpiper. Graduates and faculty not attending the morning Convocation can robe in Judson Manor.

    2:30 p.m. School of Nursing Diploma Ceremony

    Epworth-Euclid United Methodist Church, 1919 East 107th Street

    Shuttle transportation to the FPB School of Nursing ceremony for PhD Nursing graduates and family members will be available after their diploma ceremony from Adelbert Road next to One-to-One Fitness Center.
