CONVOCATION SEATING
Since seating in the Veale Center is limited, each graduating student who plans to attend the Convocation will be offered guest tickets. Additional seating will be available in the adjoining Horsburgh Gym/Emerson Physical Education Center, Strosacker Auditorium, and Ford Auditorium where large-screen video projection will provide excellent views of the convocation proceedings. Additional broadcast screens will be available at the Peter B. Lewis Building and The Moot Courtroom at the School of Law. Guests wishing to select seats providing the best visibility are advised to arrive early. All facilities will be open at 8:00 a.m. Ushers will be available to assist with seating. Following the Convocation, ample seating willl be available for all diploma ceremonies.

All campus buildings with public restrooms will be open and signs will indicate restroom locations.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Flash photography is prohibited during Convocation. As a courtesy to all graduates, the University requests that parents and guests photograph graduates without interrupting the flow of the diploma ceremonies. Photographs may be taken on the University grounds DVD recordings of the Commencement ceremonies in the Veale Center may be ordered: DVD Order Form

SECURITY
Case Western Reserve University welcomes all guests, however, to ensure everyone's comfort and in accordance with local fire safety laws, only guests with a ticket with be admitted into the Veale Center for the 9:30 a.m. Convocation ceremony. Everyone must have a ticket to enter.
To accommodate all of our guests, only small bags, which are compact enough to fit under your seat, will be permitted inside the Veale Center. All bags are subject to search. Strollers will not be permitted inside the seating area. We ask that you please check strollers at the Information Desk located inside the lobby.
Information about changes or cancellation of scheduled activities will be posted on campus, on this Web site, and broadcast throughout the greater Cleveland area by the campus radio station, WRUW, at 91.1FM.
Pets are not permitted in or near any outdoor or indoor areas where Commencement activities are occurring.
