Fehmida Kapadia, PhD

Fehmida teaches Technology Entrepreneurship and Project Management for the MEM Program at Case Western Reserve University. She has deep expertise in product development and strategic marketing. She has worked in academia and business and understands the ins and outs of taking products to market, and is passionate about helping companies develop customer-centric products. She brings this passion to her classes where she teaches her students to develop ideas into startup opportunities.

Fehmida has been helping companies develop and strategically market products since 2008. She founded KapaMed Consulting in 2013 through which she helps companies with strategic marketing activities. Prior to starting KapaMed, Fehmida worked as a Program Manager at Cleveland Clinic, where she managed product development of a biomedical device. Fehmida also worked with BioEnterprise, which is an incubator for biomedical companies in Cleveland, OH, where she supported various client companies with market assessments, competitor assessments, go-to market strategy and product positioning.

Fehmida serves as a mentor for startup companies through the Jumpstart Burton D Morgan Mentorship Program. She has also served as a business mentor at University of Akron’s iCorps program.

Fehmida has a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and a PhD in Biochemistry.
