OHIO NORTHERN 121, CASE 118...
CLEVELAND, OH (January 18, 2008)- The Case Western Reserve University women’s swimming and diving team was defeated by Ohio Northern University 121-118 in a non-conference dual meet in Ada, OH.
Case’s 200-yard freestyle relay team of senior Lindsey Stahl (Bellbrook, OH), sophomore Becca Winarski (Germantown, WI), junior Kate Pollard (Westfield, IN) and sophomore Chrissy Petzold (Traverse City, MI-pictured) was victorious with a time of 1:45.48.
Stahl won the 100-yard freestyle in 56.15.
Freshman Kelsey Zeller (Cincinnatti, OH) was victorious twice against the Polar Bears. Zeller won the 500-yard and 1000-yard freestyle events in 5:26.90 and 11:17.59, respectively.
The Spartans return home for a dual meet against Wittenberg University on January 26th at the Veale Natatorium.
