CLEVELAND, OH (November 29th, 2007)- The Case Western Reserve University women’s swimming and diving team will be competing in the College of Wooster Invitational from November 29th-December 1st in Wooster, Ohio.
The lady Spartans will battle against a tough group of schools including Saint Vincent College, Allegheny College, Oberlin College, Ohio Northern University, West Virginia Wesleyan, Notre Dame College, California University of (PA), Lycoming College, Westminster College and the College of Wooster.
Case’s 200-yard freestyle relay team of senior Lindsey Stahl (Bellbrook, OH), freshman Nicole Lord (Akron, OH), senior Becca Winarski (Germantown, WI) and freshman Marine Gu (Longwood, FL) finished fifth overall with a time of 1:43.10. 
Freshman Amanda Timson (Livonia, MI) was the top day-one individual finisher for the Spartans as she placed fifth overall in the 500-yard freestyle event at 5:27.34
Case Western Reserve competes in day-two of the College of Wooster Invitational later on this evening.
