GROVE CITY COLLEGE QUADRANGULAR ...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 17th, 2007)- The Case Western Reserve University women’s swimming and diving team competed in the Grove City Quadrangular Meet in Grove City, PA this weekend.
Kenyon College, Washington and Jefferson University and Grove City College competed in this challenging tournament consisting of three top Division III swimming programs.
Each school competed against each other in duel meets; however, the best times are compiled from all combined meets. 
The Spartans (3-4) went 0-3 against the competition, as they fell to Kenyon 182-108, lost to Washington and Jefferson 202-75 and was defeated by Grove City 161-128.
Freshman Amanda Timson (Livonia, MI) finished second overall in the 1000-yard freestyle event with a time of 11:17.15 and fourth overall in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:30.30. Junior Janine Machala (North Olmstead, OH-pictured) finished fifth overall in the 200-yard breaststroke event with a time of 2:36.26 and freshman Ellen Call (Baltimore, MD) finished third overall (4:55.80) in the mixed 400-yard individual medley.
The Spartans have the week off to prepare for The College of Wooster Invite on November 29th-December 1st in Wooster, Ohio.
