DENISON 127, CASE 73...
CLEVELAND, OH (January 19, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University women lost a dual meet 127-73 at Denison University this evening. The Spartans host the University of Rochester tomorrow at Veale Natatorium (1:00 p.m).
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of junior Becca Winarski (Germantown, WI-pictured), junior Lauren Preyss (Chagrin Falls, OH), sophomore Lisa McHale (Ridgefield, CT) and freshman Chrissy Petzold (Bowie, MD) placed first (1:43.37).
Individually, Preyss won the 50-yard freestyle (24.61) and the 100-yard freestyle (52.40) and Janine Machala (North Olmsted, OH) placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.77).
