CLEVELAND CITY COLLEGE MEET...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 10, 2006) -
Case Western Reserve University junior Lauren Preyss-pictured (Chagrin Falls, OH) won the 200-yard IM (2:11.41), the 100-yard freestyle (52.53) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.28) to lead the Spartans at the Cleveland City College Meet hosted by Cleveland State University.
Case finished 1-3 in dual meet action. The Spartans lost 118-111 to Baldwin Wallace College, 108-95 to Cleveland State and 122-99 to Gannon University. They defeated Oberlin College 132-71.
Freshman Christine Petzold (Bowie, MD) placed third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.66) and fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:34.44) while sophomore Lisa McHale (Ridgefield, CT) finished third in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.27).
Case will travel to the Kenyon College Tri-Meet on November 18.
