UAA CHAMPIONSHIPS...
ATLANTA, GA (February 10, 2006) - Both the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's swimming and diving teams are in Atlanta at Emory University participating in the 2006 University Athletic Association Championships. The Championships run Thursday through Saturday (Feb. 9-11).
On Thursday (day one), junior John Erickson (Massillon, OH) recorded a third place finish in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.29. On the women's side, the 400 yard medley relay team of sophomore Caitlin Gruenhagen (Wauseon, OH), freshman Janine Machala (North Olmsted, OH), freshman Lisa McHale-pictured (Ridgefield, CT) and sophomore Becca Winarski (Germantown, WI) also placed third with a time of 4:11.24.
