DENISON 127 , CASE 84 ...
GRANVILLE, OH (January 21, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team lost a dual meet at Denison University tonight 127-84. The Denison women are currently ranked eighth in the country (Division III).
Case senior Elaine Hillenmeyer ( Carmel , IN ) won the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.74 and placed second in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.41 to lead the Spartans. Hillenmeyer was also a member of Case first place 200 yard freestyle relay team (1:44.67). Spartan sophomore Carrie Stoila ( Tallmadge , OH ) won the 100 yard breastroke with a time of 1:16.83.
In diving, Spartan freshman Becky Boeing ( Cincinnati , OH ) won the one meter with 195.38 points. Case is off until next Saturday when they travel to Wittenberg University for a 1:00 p.m. dual meet.
