CASE 140, OBERLIN 80 ...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 20, 2004) - The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming team defeated Oberlin College 140-80 this afternoon in a dual meet in Oberlin, OH.
Claiming first place individual finishes for the Spartans were junior Becky Davis (Columbus, IN) in the 200 freestyle, freshman Elaine Hou (Columbus, IN) in the 200 IM and 500 freestyle, freshman Caitlin Gruenhagen (Wauseon, OH) in the 200 yard back stroke, and senior Elaine Hillenmeyer (Carmel, IN) in the 50 yard freestyle and 200 yard breast stroke.
The Spartans will take a break from competition until the weekend of December 2-4 when they will travel to Wooster, OH to compete in the College of Wooster Invitational.
