THE SPARTANS OPEN UP SWIMMING COMPETITION...
CLEVELAND, OH (October 30, 2004) - Allegheny College visited Case today for a dual meet to open up the swimming season. The Spartans won 122-121.
Leading the way for the Spartans with first place finishes were Becky Davis (Columbus, IN) in the 1000 yard freestyle, Elaine Hillenmeyer (Carmel, IN) in the 200 freestyle and 200 butterfly, Elaine Hou (Columbus, IN) in the 200 IM, Caitlin Gruenhagen (Wauseon, OH) in the 200 backstroke, and Heather Furman (Scotia, WY) in the 500 freestyle. The Case women also took first place in the 400 yard freestyle relay.
Next weekend the Spartans will travel to Pittsburgh, PA to compete in the UAA Quad held at Carnegie Mellon November 6th-7th.
