2006 CITRUS DUALS...
 CLEVELAND, OH (December 30, 2006) - The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team went 0-for-3 in dual meet competition at the Citrus Tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The Spartans lost 15-26 to SUNY Oneota, 15-33 to Bridgewater State and 15-31 to John Hopkins.
Sophomore 149-pounder Drew Gardella (Sagamore Hills, OH-pictured) won all three of his matches and senior 197-pounder Thomas Sander (Auburn, AL) went 2-1. Other Spartans who won matches were senior Mike Sanchez (Dayton, OH), sophomore David Bernholt (Versailles, OH), sophomore BJ Greenman (Port Alleghany, PA) and junior Nate Klingensmith (Uniontown, PA).
The Spartans will be back in action January 12-13 at the Lycoming Duals.
