ALL-OHIO CHAMPIONSHIPS...
CLEVELAND, OH (February 16, 2008) - The Case Western Reserve University women’s indoor track and field team competed in the All-Ohio Championships this afternoon, hosted by Otterbein College. As a team, the Spartans finished eighth out of 17 with 37 points.
Senior runner Esther Erb (Richmond, VA-pictured) ran well again for the Spartans, as her time of 5:07.25 was tops in the women’s one-mile run and a meet record. Erb has finished first in every race she has competed in this season.
Freshman runner Andrea Fischione (Export, PA) placed second in the women’s 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:32.48.
The Spartans will compete in the Kent State University Tune Up next weekend before hosting the University Athletic Association Championships on March 7-8.
