ALL-OHIO CHAMPIONSHIPS ...
ADA, OH (February 12, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve University women's indoor track and field team competed in their second meet in as many days today at Ohio Northern University . The Spartans finished 10 th out of the 19 teams that participated in the 2005 All-Ohio Championships. Baldwin Wallace College won the title with 94.50 points.
Senior Cassi Armstrong (Cleveland, OH) finished fourth in the shot out with a mark of 11.89 meters, senior Diana Kovacic (Rock Creek, OH) placed third in the weight throw with a mar14.04 meters, freshman Esther Erb (Richmond, VA) finished sixth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:26.31, and junior Lillian Pinault (Fair Haven, NJ) placed ninth in the 1500 meter run with a time of 5:16.30 to lead Case.
The Spartans next travel to Baldwin Wallace College on February 18 for the All-City Championships.
