DEPAUW 70, CASE 63...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 24, 2007) - Case Western Reserve University sophomore guard Ashleigh Tondo (McDonald, OH-pictured) recorded a double-double [14 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds] in a 70-63 loss to DePauw University in the opening game of the Thomas More College Shootout. 
DePauw [3-0] shot 44 percent from beind the arc and 45 percent from the field in the first half and took a 38-26 lead into the intermission. The Spartans [1-3] outrebounded the Tigers 41-28 on the night, but DePauw finished 15-of-21 from the foul line compared to Case Western Reserve’s three-of-five to remain undefeated.
Spartan senior forward Ashley Horton (Akron, OH) recorded her second double-double [18 points, 14 rebounds] of the season and senior guard Mary Herendeen (Austinburg, OH) had 14 points. Case Western Reserve will play Centre College tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
