CLEVELAND, OH (February 2, 2008) - Sophomore Robbie Browning (Grosse Pointe, MI) won two individual events, igniting the Case Western Reserve University men’s swimming and diving team (6-4) to a victory over the Gators of Allegheny College (2-8) 115-108 at a non-conference dual meet in Meadville, PA. 
Browning won the 50-yard freestyle (23.14) and the 100-yard butterfly (53.16).
The powerful 200-yard medley relay of Browning, junior John Somerville (Bloomfield, Hills, MI-pictured), and sophomores Drew Swartz (San Diego, CA) and Kyle Helson (Bloomfield Hills, MI) placed first in 1:42.68.
The sophomore Buffalo Grove, IL duo of Kevin Alland and Edward Mckee were each victorious on the afternoon. Alland took the gold in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:03.69) and Edward Mckee placed first in the 100-yard backstroke (57.46).
The Spartans have won five-in-a-row against the Gators.
Case has a three week break to prepare for the University Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by the University of Rochester from February 21st-23rd.
