CLEVELAND, OH (January 27, 2007) -
The Case Western Reserve University men’s swimming and diving team lost 135-102 at Wittenberg University today. The Spartans host the 2007 University Athletic Association Championships February 8-10 at Case.
Graduate student Pat Rodjom (Pittsburgh, PA) won the 100-yard butterfly (54.64) and the 100-yard breaststroke (58.51, NCAA "B" cut). Freshman Drew Swartz (San Diego, CA-pictured) won the 200-yard IM (2:03.80) and the 100-yard backstroke (56.38).
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Swartz, freshman Dan Wolak (La Grange Park, IL), sophomore John Somerville (Bloomfield Hills, MI) and sophomore Brian Grady (North Canton, OH) won with a time of 1:32.48.
