KENYON MEET...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 18, 2006) -
Case Western Reserve University graduate student Pat Rodjom-pictured (Pittsburgh, PA) won the 100-yard breaststroke (58.51 - NCAA "B" provisional), and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:13.68), while the Spartans went 1-2 in the Kenyon College Meet in Gambier, Ohio.
Case lost to Grove City, 197-96, and host Kenyon College 148-139. However the Spartans did beat Washington & Jefferson, 177.5-113.5.
Case's team of freshman Dan Wolak (La Grange Park, IL), freshman Bryan Saltzman (Buffalo Grove, IL), sophomore Brian Grady (North Canton, OH), and senior John Erickson (Massillon, OH) finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:29.97. Also finishing second for the Spartans was their team of freshman Drew Swartz (San Diego, CA), senior Pat Rodjom, freshman Jerry Lin (Naperville, IL) and senior John Erickson in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:38.09.
Case will travel to the College of Wooster Invite Nov. 30 – Dec. 2.
