CASE 137, WITTENBERG 94...
CLEVELAND, OH (January 28, 2006) - The Case men’s swimming team had a solid outing as the Spartans defeated Wittenberg, 137-94, today in the Veale Natatorium. Leading the way for Case was senior Justin Daggett-pictured (Bradford, PA), who won two individual events (500-yard Freestyle & 200-yd. IM) and helped the Spartans win the 200-yard medley. 
The Spartans swept the top three places in two events. In the 200-yard IM, Dagget led the way with a time of 2:01.87, finishing second was freshman John Somerville (Bloomfield Hills, MI) with a time of 2:01.91 and senior Anthony Roshetsky (Youngstown, OH) finished third for Case with a time of 2:07.78. In the 50-yard freestyle, senior Bobby Molinoski (Pittsburgh, PA) took first with a time of 22.44, freshman Seth Hazlett (Leechburg, PA) finished second with a time of 22.65 and freshman Brian Grady (North Canton, OH) finished third with a time of 23:10.
Senior David Loomis (Elkhart, IN) won the 200-yard freestyle for Case while fellow senior Pat Rodjom (Pittsburgh, PA) took the 100-yard breaststroke. Rochestsky and Hazlett also finished first in their respective events. In the 100-yard backstroke, Rochetsky won the event with a time of 56:14 and Hazlett took the 100-yard butterfly finishing in 53 seconds even.
The Spartans travel to the UAA Championships in Atlanta, GA hosted by Emory University on February 9-11.
