CASE 132, ROCHESTER 105 ...
CLEVELAND, OH (January 15, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve University men's swimming and diving team defeated the University of Rochester 132-105 this afternoon in the Veale Center.
Helping the Case men to victory was first-place relay finishes in both the 200-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle relays. On Case's senior day, three seniors claimed first-place finishes with Eric Frohmader (Madison, WI) in the 100-yard butterfly, Kevin Day (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in the 100-yard freestyle, and John Keltz (Bradford PA) in the 100-yard breaststroke. Also taking home an individual first-place finish was sophomore John Erickson (Massillon, OH) in the 50-yard freestyle.
The Spartans will next travel to Granville, OH to take on Denison University in a dual meet next Friday at 6:00 p.m. Team Results -- Full Results
