CLEVELAND, OH (December 4, 2004) - The Case Western Reserve University men's swimming and diving team finished second (1,219 points) overall out of the 11 competing teams at the College of Wooster Invitational.
Individually on the men's side, senior Chris Cook (Columbus, OH) broke the school record in the 100 Freestyle (46.67), which was also good for an NCAA ‘B' cut. The men also won the 200 freestyle relay (1:26.28), 200 medley relay (1:38.81), and 800 freestyle relay (7:07.33). Cook also was on both of the winning freestyle relays.
The Spartans are off for the holidays, returning to the pool January 8 for a dual meet at Carnegie Mellon University.
