GREATER CLEVELAND CHAMPIONSHIP...
CLEVELAND, OH (February 23, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s indoor track and field team traveled across town last night to Baldwin Wallace College for the 2008 Greater Cleveland Championships. The Spartans finished fourth with 77 points while Notre Dame College placed first with 162.50. 
Freshman Victor Whitelock (Lexington, OH) and freshman Brett Beaugureau (Park Ridge, IL) finished one, two in the 800-meter run with times of 1:59.31 and 2:00.97, respectively. In the field events, sophomore Obinna Nwanna (Maumee, OH-pictured) placed first in the high jump with a mark of 1.91 meters. Junior Joshua Ward (Boise, ID) also picked up some points in the 5,000-meter run, finishing second at 16:00.92.
Case Western Reserve will be in action again on March 7-8 when they host the 2008 University Athletic Association Championships in the Veale Center. Click here for more information.
