ALL-OHIO CHAMPIONSHIP...
CLEVELAND, OH (February 16, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University men's indoor track field team competed in the All-Ohio Championships this afternoon, hosted by Otterbein College.
Junior distance runner Dominic Smith (New Richmond, OH-pictured) finished runner-up in the men's one-mile run with a time of 4:23.34, three seconds behind Otterbein's Jared French. Senior distance runner Mike Petro ( Cincinnati, OH) took ninth place in the men's 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:49.62.
Senior Brandon Jeffries ( Northfield, OH) and senior Pat Benasutti ( Ludlow Falls, OH) both finished fourth in the men's weight throw this afternoon (13.92-meters).
The Spartans will compete in the Kent State University Tune Up next weekend before hosting the University Athletic Association Championships on March 7-8.
