CASE INVITATIONAL...
CLEVELAND, OH (February 1, 2008) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s indoor track and field team had another solid showing at home, as the team finished first at the Case Invitational.
Sophomore high-jumper Obinna Nwanna (Maumee, OH) was stellar for the second week in-a-row, as he placed first in the high-jump at 1.88-meters. Nwanna also took third in the shot put with a throw of 12.74-meters.
Junior distance runner Dominic Smith (New Richmond, OH - pictured) ran past the competition for second week in-a-row, as his time of 8:47.22 was tops in the 3,000-meter run. The men also took first in the distance medley.
The Spartans will compete in the All-Ohio Championships on Feb. 16 at Otterbein College.
